Passionate about preventive dentistry, she believes dentistry should be teamwork between a doctor and a patient. Born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine, Dr. Spivak has been living in the United States since 1993. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston, graduating with honors. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine.

Committed to lifetime learning, Dr. Spivak continues to advance her dental education and skills through various continuing education courses and seminars. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.   

In her spare time, Dr. Spivak enjoys doing yoga, reading, and traveling. She speaks Russian and English fluently.
